For her Senior Thesis film at USC, Mia joined the story of Limelight, written by Ana Telfer and Directed by Claire Gostin. A romance trying to blossom between two women under the pressure of political turmoil in the Republic of Congo, Limelight was an LGBT story Mia felt connected to. As the sole editor of the project, Mia gained an eye-opening amount of experience working with the story. Cutting, switching, and refining scenes like never before, she learned to craft a beautiful romance, a tense political state and transform Los Angeles into Brazzaville all in one.
